Works AMAZINGLY when it does---At random it likes to turn my audio into a garbled, tearing mess or mute. OTHER THAN THAT... It's amazing and the visualizer is fun to stare at.

I am having to use an older Ubuntu distro (16.04 Xenial Xerus) and needed a decent Graphic Equalizer plugin for my browser. At the time of this review I am using the Brave Browser which is based on Chromium and I am happy to report that this plug-in works _beautifully_ with this browser. Watching a Youtube channel is now an absolute pleasure, the comprehensive sliders automatically give a graph overlay which makes adjusting the different frequencies a breeze, AND you get a _decent_ audio-boost as well, great for those content creators that present really really quiet videos ;) Alternatively you can cut the volume of those really really loud ones that blast you out of your chair (or headphones) even with a volume setting of one! This plug-in is also tab-specific, so you can choose to put only the chosen browser tabs through the EQ and leave the others out. This is great and the addition of the Export and Import Presets option means that you can save your settings outside of your operating system. Great choice ;) There is also a Reset Filters option which is great if you completely hose up your settings and want to quickly return to a "flat" response and start again. Over all I like this plug-in and I can certainly recommend it as a good solid basic Graphic Equalizer that does exactly what it says on the tin. Nice job and thanks to the dev for distributing this ;)

This extension makes the internet more accessible for someone like me that is extremely sensitive to sounds in very specific frequencies due to sensory processing issues related to a developmental disability. Other equalizer extension only provide a few fixed frequencies to target and apply attenuation across a broad range. With Ears, the ability to narrow down very specific frequencies for attenuation without affecting broad ranges is unmatched. With the forced migration to Manifest V3 extensions, I might be SOL if Ears (which is Manifest V2) or something like it doesn't survive the transition. I've been a very happy paying user of this extension for many years and hope it continues on.

Sometimes I only use it to raise the volume past whatever limit is forced upon me. Sometimes I use it to listen to podcasts while using the EQ to make them sound more tinny and flat to blend in better with the Radio on Fallout. Either way, this is probably the only extension I've ever left a review on, if that means anything. 10/10, easy to use, nice UI, presets, works everywhere. 20/20 20/10 even.

Excellent improvement to audio quality, but unfortunately I lose sync with picture when it's is enabled.

Now this is exactly what I was looking for. Only thing i could ask for to compliment this eq is a compressor. But this is perfect.

one of the best EQ I have ever used, but be careful of loud specifically if you will use headphones or earbuds, set it up on low frequency will you get the best bass will ever listen in your life

Fantastic extension The best EQ

The best EQ available for a Chromebook, hands down. It does not come with presets so you will need to know something of what you are doing, although you can find presets on Github.

David Smith (Neophyter)

The best EQ I've ever used.

Fantastic extension, especially helpful when you can't install EQ APO on your PC. There seems to be one small issue though. I've noticed that the Volume slider is applying twice the gain. For example: 1. Open the online tone generator on https://www.szynalski.com/tone-generator/ 2. Set the volume to 100%. 3. Set the frequency to 100 Hz or 50 Hz. 4. Enable the Bass Boost EQ (with Volume slider at 0). 5. Notice the distortion. 6. Move the volume slider until you can't hear the distortion anymore. Expected: Since the bass boost preset is applying +5 dB below ~150 Hz, the distortion should stop being audible at -5 Volume slider position. Actual results: The distortion disappears around the half-point between 0 and -5 Volume slider position.

YOUR SEARCH IS OVER THIS IS THE EXTENTION YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!!!! I have been using this extension for almost 10 years I believe or close to it. haven't found anything close. I've never had a single issue with it. my friends even make fun of me with how passionate I get about trying to get people to try it. yes an app would be nice of course, but with how well it works just online I am very happy with that. I have everything I listen to at home centered around this app and I have never had a time that it doesn't out perform ANY type of equipment I have linked my pc to. I have donated and will again its worth it. thank you to the developer
