It's by far the best and my go-to audio extension Suggestion: It could have 'audio delay' feature
update please=)
UPDATE PLS AND GET 5 STARS
good equalizer for chrome. if you cant install it just open devtool or (right click on the disabled add to chrome button) and then remove the disabled attribute inside the <button /> element. like this <button ...//something else ... disabled /> to <button ...//something else ... />. im not sure why google did this but their devs surely is slacking on disabling this on client side lol
This extension is so far ahead of ALL other so-called audio equalizer extensions that comparing them is like comparing a formal tuxedo to a baby's dirty diapers. Please tell Google to reapprove this extension. Other equalizer extensions are pretty much just music equalizers -- Ears is designed to equalize ANY web page that has any audio associated with it. This extension can be used as simply as using its excellent presets -- or as expertly as you want to learn about parametric equalization. Applying the equalization to a webpage is done simply by selecting your webpage and then clicking the Ears icon in your browser's toolbar.
Update the extension not working on 2025 March ? I use this extension a lot
Please update it. It's the best. How to make it work for now for developers or people familiar with devtools: - Open devtools - Click on select an element tool - Select the button 'Add' - Open the div and go to the button tag - Double click on the attributes and delete 'disable' - Press enter and add the extension.
Best equalizer out there, I'm talking ever, on any platform. After I found out that its not supported, I was devastated! But I found out that I could download the file and put it on chrome, here's the link (instruction on this link too). https://chrome-stats.com/d/nfdfiepdkbnoanddpianalelglmfooik/download-thank?type=ZIP&version=1.3.12
rip, the best extention
Also posting here to say how much this plugin has been super beneficial to me, and now it is no longer supported on chrome. Hoping to see an updated version of this plugin soon!
Chrome will stop supporting this EQ soon which is a shame since this is the best one ever that actually works well and doesn't cause any audio issue
I have tried several equalizers and this provides by far the best excellent sound quality. Please keep this on the Chrome Web Store!
please update so it can work with chromes newest update.
This is VERY good if you want to bass boot your audio or put the volume higher than the normal max if you need to. It is also useful to change the way the sound it, and it is very useful.
It's very useful to me, please continue keeping it on Chrome store. Thanks with love !
Does not mess with fullscreen. thanks
Shame this no longer works - it was great extension - "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.
enchanter! enriching the sound of trash speaker
Unreal how much better my earbuds sound when using this extension. It's like unlocking a new realm of capability. I am absolutely heartbroken that this is evidently going away. I hope the developer does whatever idiotic thing Google demands to avoid delisting.
Using this now for 3 years, the best and easiest. 10/10 recommend
Works AMAZINGLY when it does---At random it likes to turn my audio into a garbled, tearing mess or mute. OTHER THAN THAT... It's amazing and the visualizer is fun to stare at.
I am having to use an older Ubuntu distro (16.04 Xenial Xerus) and needed a decent Graphic Equalizer plugin for my browser. At the time of this review I am using the Brave Browser which is based on Chromium and I am happy to report that this plug-in works _beautifully_ with this browser. Watching a Youtube channel is now an absolute pleasure, the comprehensive sliders automatically give a graph overlay which makes adjusting the different frequencies a breeze, AND you get a _decent_ audio-boost as well, great for those content creators that present really really quiet videos ;) Alternatively you can cut the volume of those really really loud ones that blast you out of your chair (or headphones) even with a volume setting of one! This plug-in is also tab-specific, so you can choose to put only the chosen browser tabs through the EQ and leave the others out. This is great and the addition of the Export and Import Presets option means that you can save your settings outside of your operating system. Great choice ;) There is also a Reset Filters option which is great if you completely hose up your settings and want to quickly return to a "flat" response and start again. Over all I like this plug-in and I can certainly recommend it as a good solid basic Graphic Equalizer that does exactly what it says on the tin. Nice job and thanks to the dev for distributing this ;)
only one like it!
it is such as magic, i don't know what code inside this extensions but it is so powerfull like magic
Audio engineer's dream
I LOVE his extension but what's up with this warning I'm getting from Chrome? "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." WWWHHHHAAAAAA???? Whoever the designer is of this life saving extension HAS to "FIX" it so it doesn't go away!!!!! Oh, it's Kevin King, Please please please fix this! I Beseech thee!
it's so much fun blowing up all the speakers on my old shitbox laptops
this is cool one and the bass broked when i open
I can still full screen after boosting the volume.
This extension makes the internet more accessible for someone like me that is extremely sensitive to sounds in very specific frequencies due to sensory processing issues related to a developmental disability. Other equalizer extension only provide a few fixed frequencies to target and apply attenuation across a broad range. With Ears, the ability to narrow down very specific frequencies for attenuation without affecting broad ranges is unmatched. With the forced migration to Manifest V3 extensions, I might be SOL if Ears (which is Manifest V2) or something like it doesn't survive the transition. I've been a very happy paying user of this extension for many years and hope it continues on.
